Recording Options

The implemented MPEG-4 compression algorithm allows for up to 4 weeks non-stop data recording on a 2.5-inch hard drive with resolution up to 512×576 (PAL) or 512×480 (NTSC). Both recording till the disk is full and cyclic recording with data replacement are supported. Recording parameters can be set separately for each video and audio channel. The recording period can be extended even longer using a built-in weekly scheduling function.

Network Functions

Since all DVRs of Tral 1 series are network devices supporting the TCP/IP protocol, they can be integrated in virtually any data networks. Users enjoy a convenient web interface for viewing real-time information and archived data, for setting up the device, and even for PTZ control of dome cameras via RS485 — all done through a standard web browser.

Tral 1-T for Transportation

The Tral 1-T model is specially designed for use in transportation and other heavy-duty conditions. It features high shock and vibration resistance and can operate in the temperature range of −4°F to 131°F (−20°C to 55°C) meeting requirements of the MIL-STD-810 standard. During production we test each Tral 1-T device in a heating and cooling cabinet in the entire operating temperature range and deliver it with its individual test sheet attached.

Implementation

DVRs of Tral 1 series provide an ideal solution for distributed surveillance systems at remote and hard-to-reach objects. The broad range of possible application areas gets even wider due to built-in zone motion detection and camera sabotage functions. Such events are saved in the DVR memory and trigger sending out e-mail messages with images attached.

Non-PC based surveillance systems

Just two devices can be used to build a complete non-PC based surveillance system: a DVR of Tral 1 series and Tral Vision (a monitoring device that can display information on an SVGA monitor).

Owing to their small size and easy installation, DVRs of Tral 1 series can be successfully used for quick deployment of surveillance systems on temporary sites.
