DVR Tral 3-M

DVR Tral 3-M provides high-quality digital recording of video and audio from external sources and is designed for mobile applications. Data is saved to a Compact Flash, and the device allows for quick replacement of the media.

Overview

To view the recording, Compact Flash™ media is removed and plugged into a PC through a USB adaptor. Viewing and file management are done using the FileViewer™ program. This software can also convert video to a standard (.AVI) format.

DVR Tral 3-M is made in a flat metal housing with a Sub-D 9pin terminal for power, video and audio. It has an extended input voltage range and can be powered by small 7.2 V Li-Ion batteries.

Due to the firm metal case, DVR Tral 3-M can operate in the heaviest conditions. The Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Russian Federation runs field tests and pilot operation of DVR Tral 3-M in buildings destroyed by earthquake.

The device has a special recording mode triggered by short-circuiting of an external sensor. In this mode, DVR Tral 3-M keeps only 15 seconds of recording before short-circuiting and then records till the media is full.
