Tral NAS

Tral NAS is an efficient portable device that archives video streamed by Tral 5 video server. Tral NAS features two network interfaces in order to isolate IP camera networks from general-purpose local networks.

This unloads the general-purpose network, increases protection from unauthorized access, and allows storing all constantly received video data in a separate low-power device.

Tral NAS uses the AMD Alchemy Au1000 processor based on the MIPS32 instruction set and operates under OS Linux 2.4 loaded from embedded flash memory. Internal real-time clock is provided.

Two internal Tral NAS hard disks can be joined into either Raid 0 (for increasing storage volume) or Raid 1 (for increasing reliability of data saving).

Tral NAS built-in software supports various network security protocols, such as SSL and SSH. Automated IP addressing service (DHCP) is provided to eliminate network addressing conflicts. Samba Server software allows clients on the network to access a shared disk resource.

Tral NAS has very low power consumption. Thus, system reliability can be substantially increased by using a low-power uninterruptible power supply.
